I'm glad you guys liked the report, thanks for all the kind words

This video is not me or by me, but gives you a good idea of what it's like to shoot a nice halibut.. The fish was shot in an area which is roughly the furthest south you are likely to find big halibut this shallow in Norway (Hitra island).

Good thread, nice context of fishing for halibut in Norway, is similar to fishing " line" (blanket stripe),you come very close to shoot but not kill the first shot .......... submerged buoys.
