A buddy of mine called me last night asking if I'd be game to dive today. With the water conditions being as they have been the past week and the forecast for the upcoming week looking so grim, there was no way in hell I was turning him down. We pulled out of Haulover just after 10am, returned at a bit after 7pm. The water was quite chilly, I was wearing a 2pc 2mm double lined suit.. really wish I had brought my 3mm open. Current was pretty much non existent, however the jellyfish have decided to make one last attempt at world domination. Visibility 40 in 55'. 30 in 35', hazy top/bottom in 25. Total haul between the 2 of us was 5 decent hogs, 4 mangroves to 19", a man-eating lionfish and a rockhind. I looked hard for bugs as I always do, but only found 1 short.. either I'm losing my magic touch or somebody warned those suckers. I also managed to break a metal wishbone on my finger. It slipped on the tab while I was loading, and instead of the expected HOLY F*N SHIT that hurts, my band just fell off. First thought was either this thing just took my pinky clean off and I'm in shock or that wishbone broke. For the record, I can't stand metal wishbones, but my new gun was shooting so well on the stock setup that I put up with them until now.
Pic of my catch, minus the rockhind and lionfish.. they never made it off the boat.

2 larger hogs are just at 20" and the largest grover is somewhere around 19".
