Default Speardiver Aim mask

The new Pursuit Aim mask is an ultra low volume freediving mask. I'm looking for two guys that currently own and prefer to use an Aqualung Technisub micromask, to evaluate the Aim mask relative to the Technisub. I'm looking for input on such things as fit, differences if any, and overall appeal.

EDIT - The mask is now available from Pursuit Speardiver Aim Mask - Speardiver

I'll give it a try if you want. You should certainly ask hau. He turne me onto mine a few years ago. I have never looked back. It even handles my 'stash with no leaks

Looks great Dan!

As LB said, the no leaking with a stash is just another of the many great features of that mask design.

I 2nd the vote for Hau.

Edit: maybe one mask here in our warn waters and another in CA. To see if it will act different in the colder waters.

I'm not qualified to evaluate it, but could you post a picture of the inside of the mask? In other words, the part that actually interfaces with the face. I have a hard time finding low volume masks, and you seem to recommend this one very highly.

Interesting request. I can't remember any marketing for a mask that had a pic of the inside. I doubt enough information can be gained from such a pic to determine fit. I recommend this mask/the Technisub mask to those who's face it fits. The mask has a following but unfortunately for me I get a leak under the nose with the Technisub mask and the same with the Pursuit Aim mask.

I've got a Technisub. I'll check it out in the pool and ocean and let you know if you want. I can give it back to you when I come down that way next month.

Thank you for obliging, Dan. Sorry to hear you get leaks. My fitting problem is of a rather different sort. In a past thread you said that the mask is very low volume yet the frame does not hurt the bridge of the nose. This is one of the problems that I have with most masks, and I can usually tell if it will do so by looking at the interior.

Actually, the biggest problem I get is the contact between the mask frame and the forehead. I have "neanderthal brow"...

I love that mask... but it's TOO low volume for me.

I have long eyelashes & the lense is so close that I feel it every time I blink.

Good mask though.
