My favorite western is The Wild Bunch. I haven't seen the Magnificent Seven, but will now. Thanks!
The Wild Bunch is pretty good. I love the scene where they swim in the wine.

Javier Barden had a minor role in Collateral with Tom Cruise and Jamie Fox. He made a movie about a Cuban poet called Before Night Falls that was one of his best performances.

Interesting thing just happend, I went over to Netflix and was adding a few movies suggested here to my queue. After I added Magnificent Seven, I get a pop-up of other movies I may enjoy. Some of you may find this amusing and others it will be over their heads:

Thumbs up

I saw The Assasination of Jesse James last night staring Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck. I was not too hopeful on the movie going in, but I enjoyed it. This was not the typical Jesse James movie, it was more focused on Bob Ford, who shot and killed Jesse in the back. Brad Pitt produced it and although it dragged a bit (2.5 hours), it was still enjoyable.

Brad pit is one of my favorites, a gifted actor.

I'm curious if anybody liked the movie Walk Hard, the Dewey Cocks story?

I did not like it. It was obvious they were making fun of Walk the line, the Johnny Cash movie. I will confess that I thought the movie was so bad and 20 minutes into it, we decided we had enough.
