_____________________________

  • Total knife length: 9.05" (23cm)
  • Knife weight: 3.52oz (100g)
  • Handle length: 4.72" (12cm)
  • Handle material: PP e TPE mixture
  • Blade length: 4.33" (11cm)
  • Blade thickness: 0.149" (3.8mm)
  • Blade characteristics: W 1.4116 stainless steel tempered to a 55-56HRC hardness
  • Sheath weight: PE, 1.23oz (35g)
  • Choice of belt type, or quick release plastic buckle straps
Other characteristics:
  • Very slim knife profile has practically no drag when moving through the water, wherever the knife is mounted.
  • Serrated edge to cut mono, cable, or fish. The serrated edge easily cuts through 400lb mono and is capable of cutting through stainless steel cable.
  • The blade is very stiff, it can be used to chip away rock to retrieve a stuck shaft, without fear of bending the knife tip or breaking the blade.
  • Stainless steel blade will not rust.
  • 3 ways of securing the knife in the sheath; Using the built in rubber loop that goes over the end of the handle, the loop is removable. Using a bungee to loop over the tip of the sheath. Or both. I prefer removing the rubber loop and using the bungee, I find it to be the most secure system. In case of the emergency the bungee is stretchy enough to pull the knife out of the sheath by force without first unlooping the bungee. Still the knife will never come out on its own. The bungee loop can be used to put your hand through when dealing with a strong fish to avoid dropping the knife if you lose your grip by accident.
  • Marseilles style rubber straps with stainless steel buckles, for quick and precise strap length adjustment.
  • Sheath can be calf, thigh, or belt mounted. If calf mounted make sure it's on the inside of the calf to reduce the possibility of entanglement with discarded fishing line.

Ben/fishingdude, after all the shit talking you've done about me and my business, you entered in the Raffle.. your cheapness and stupidity is mind boggling. But what's to be expected from someone who I receive in my house at 11pm because they're in urgent need of a speargun band for next day's trip, then later tries to shake me down for a free wetsuit in exchange for a picture of my gear. Trust me when I say you're not getting anything from me ever, not free and not paying if know it's you.

Good looking blade, as a mod I'm staying out of the raffle.

Cheers, Don

Ha you've got a spit fire attitude Dan.

Next time you should put up a disclaimer that says, "This raffle is intended for those who appreciate Pursuit and the Speardiver forum. As such, I reserve the right to remove any individual from the final drawing of this raffle. "

These stipulations sound about right to me and should be obvious, but some people have no self respect. Such a person doesn't deserve the courtesy or the effort of explaining it to them.

Guys this is supposed to be fun and it's my pleasure to give something to a member of the community. I wish I had 100 knives to give away to the members who contribute on Speardiver. Don't let the actions of this one punk who I felt compelled to out ruin it.
