Speardiver forum automatically embeds youtube videos in a post. All you have to do is copy the direct link to the youtube video which looks like this

and paste it in the post. The result will look like this:
To embed Vimeo video find the direct link to the video which looks like this

Copy just the numeric portion
Click on the vimeo icon in the post editor (Note this icon/button is not available in the quick reply post editor)
the Vimeo tags will appear in the post
[VIMEO][/VIMEO.].
Paste the numeric portion of the Vimeo link between the tags
[VIMEO]36257230[/VIMEO.]. That's it submit reply, the result will look like this:
