Private forum sections
Some forum sections, such as regional spearfishing sections where reports are posted, are private. Guests browsing the forum see the threads in a private section, but when clicking on a thread they only see the first post. The reason for this is that we don't want non members to use information we post about conditions and locations pertinent to spearfishing in our area. You are urged to not disclose in the first post conditions information such as visibility, which fish were present in numbers, where you were diving etc. If you still want to give guests something to see, use a little bit of creativity to divide the post in such a way that the fun part with pics will be in the first post and the specifics on conditions, if you choose to give out this info, in the following posts.
