Hi guys,

I just ventured outside of my spearboard community and found this site. Wanted to introduce myself as I'm a freediver (soon to be scuba as well) from Santa Barbara, CA who loves just about every activity involving the ocean. I've recently moved back to the coast last September from Denver, CO and have revived my love of spearfishing. I've had quite a successful lobster season so far and am looking forward to the halis coming around through the summer. I've been hunting primarily on a sling, but with the purchase of my new JBL Explorer 20, i'm getting into shooting reef fish and expanding my target species. I'm also meeting a few fellow spearfishermen who are proud owners of boats, so on my weekends outside of work, I look forward to exploring the islands over the spring and summer.

I'm always down to dive on weekends or in the evenings during the week, so if you ever find yourself looking for a new dive buddy, hit me up! 805-403-6546. - I wouldn't call myself a noob, but i'm definitely not an expert in any sense of the word and am always looking to gain more knowledge from others in the community!
